About Acetaia Malpighi

The story of our family began in 1850, when Pietro Malpighi, great-grandfather of the current president of Acetaia, transmitted a precious legacy to his son Augusto: the recipe for producing the real and genuine “natural vinegar”. That precious recipe has been passed from hand to hand for five generations, united by the same passion, by respect for a strong tradition that has lasted for a long time to the present day. Time has passed, our spaces have multiplied and today the Malpighi Acetaia takes care of more than 3,000 barrels where the real Modena Balsamic Vinegar is and matures slowly, a treasure kept in the hearts of those who know it up close.
