About Atelier Avenet

ATELIER AVENET was created in 2017. Workshop of restoration of gilded wood according to the traditional artisanal technique of gilding with gold leaf, ATELIER AVENET restores mainly frames, mirrors, period and style furniture. it also intervenes in the restoration of heritage on construction sites in France and abroad. Alongside the restoration activity, the workshop creates unique pieces or small series using mainly natural plant and marine elements, such as gingko leaves, ferns, oak leaves for the plant part. For the marine part, it uses a unique marine universe, crabs, spider crabs, lobsters, lobsters, shells... the whole is gilded with yellow gold leaf, white, pink gold, palladium... The plant world is represented mainly in small series of transparent frames. The marine wave is presented under ancient Napoleon III globes where each golden animal is unique and scenography. ; Read their story
