About The Lost Journalist

Michelle LaFiura is a painter, art teacher, and muralist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a lover of nature and wants to inspire others with the power of creativity. The Lost Journalist was born in 2015 when Michelle was starting her career in journalism. While she was building her career in New York City, she found herself spending all her free time outdoors, traveling, making art, and being inspired by life's big questions. She came to realize that she wanted to invest all her time into the things that bring her the most joy. It was at this point that she started questioning her path and where it would lead if she allowed herself to be lost. The result has turned into a journey of self-exploration, art, travel, and creativity. Michelle's art is a reflection of these thought patterns. She pulls her inspiration from nature around us and the universe living inside us. She hopes to inspire others to take risks in pursuit of the things that bring joy. Read their story
