About Greyya Jay

I am Greyya Jay. My art is a reflection of my fascination with the natural world and its relationship with human experiences. My relief wall sculptures art are inspired by the organic shapes and patterns found in nature. Through the primary use of monochrome colors, I aim to create a sense of harmony and balance that reflects the simplicity and beauty of the natural world. Imperfections in the materials I use are celebrated as a reminder of the impermanence of life and the passage of time. My work is intentionally understated, allowing the viewer to appreciate the subtle details and textures that create depth and dimension. I experiment with various techniques to create the appearance of patina on my art with the layering of materials, or even natural weathering to achieve the desired effect. Each piece is designed to be a tactile experience, inviting the viewer to explore the different contours and surfaces through touch and sight.
