About JOYEM

Handmade. Soul. Objects. It all started shortly after our founder Johanna Koukkari, a designer-maker from Finland, set sail for London in 2016 where she joined a British heritage luxury fashion brand. During these inspiring years her interest in design and jewellery sparked and so she decided to set up her own design brand. First, she started off crafting premium stationary but soon after she created her first easy-to-wear delicate jewellery pieces. Since this day all JOYEM ‘soul objects’ are designed and handcrafted by Johanna, today at the JOYEM Atelier in her chosen home country, Austria.Read their story
