Hi! I’m Sabrina—the founder and owner of Rise and Design Art Studio, a home-based ceramic studio in Central Pennsylvania. A few years after moving from Long Island, I rediscovered my love for wheel-throwing pottery and began selling my work in local boutique shops. After three years of experimenting, honing my craft, and building a community around my brand, I took the leap and launched Rise and Design as a full-time business. What started as a part-time passion has grown into something more colorful, joyful, and community-rooted than I ever imagined. In 2024, Rise and Design officially became a woman-owned small business dedicated to crafting small-batch, wheel-thrown pottery that’s bold, playful, and made to be used and loved every day. I focus on vibrant glazes, lively textures, and patterns that bring warmth, smiles, and personality to daily rituals. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or tucking your wedding ring into a handmade dish, each piece is designed with intention and joy. We put extra care into every detail—from comfy handles to those silky-smooth bottoms (yes, we sand them thoroughly!)—because we want every piece to feel just right in your hands.
