About Friendly Goods Company

Friendly Goods Company is a family-owned skin and body care business with a mission to craft natural, wholesome, and delightful body care products that are skin, community, and planet friendly. Located on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Friendly Goods Company's body care products are made with wholesome, natural ingredients (many of them food-grade); a portion of each sale is donated to local environmental nonprofits serving our home community; and plastic packaging has been dramatically reduced to be more environmentally sustainable. Friendly Goods' origin dates back to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic where co-founder Sam was invited to make handmade soap by a local friend. Dozens of batches later and months of experimenting with making additional body care products by hand, Sam cultivated a cult following of friends and family who were eager to purchase more soap. Conceptualizing how to meet demand with wife and co-founder DeLia, the idea of launching a full-scale body care business was born. Read their story
