Hello there! I'm Carissa, owner + designer at CARIS Jewelry. I've been in the jewelry industry for over 10 years, and founded CARIS, my second jewelry brand, in 2024 out of a desire to offer bolder fashion pieces at an affordable price point. Our jewelry is crafted out of a surgical steel base (which makes it hypoallergenic + rust-free), and then we use a modern plating method called Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to coat our jewelry in a thick layer of pure 18k gold (over 10X thicker than traditional plating). This method creates an intense bond between the steel and the gold, making it waterproof! Life is too short to worry about your jewelry turning your skin green!
