About HeartStraws

HeartStraws is a reusable glass straw brand with a purpose: help turn off the faucet of single-use plastic pollution by keeping single-use plastic straws out of the environment, away from wildlife and prevent them from becoming microplastics. HeartStraws inventory was acquired by a Father (Peter) and Daughter (Christina) team when the original owner had to close his business due to the pandemic. Christina lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is the owner of an eco-friendly retail business, Eco Maniac Company, as well as director of a non-profit organization working to keep plastic pollution out of Virginia's waterways. Peter is "retired", living in Rhode Island, but he still works on his promotional products business part time and now he has this new and fun challenge of distributing HeartStraws in New England to keep him on his toes :). HEARTSTRAWS are handmade from Borosilicate glass, ensuring the maximum strength and durability available. Each straw is hand cut, bent, and hand-finished to a smooth, rounded edge then properly annealed for strength and inspected to ensure it meets strict quality standards. Many of the HeartStraws reusable glass straws are engraved with the HeartStraws logo. We will always ship your order plastic-free, in recycled/used boxes when possible (sometimes there is plastic tape on the box leftover from the previous shipper).Read their story
