About Shattered Hues

Our pieces are made from reclaimed stained glass. What does this mean you ask? We have taken family heirlooms, shattered lamps or windows, even other artists scraps to construct our pieces. I should say 90% of our pieces are made from reclaimed glass. There are the occasions where I find an absolutely gorgeous piece of glass and can’t seem to part with it. The glass is then either left in it’s one of a kind shape or I cut it down into somethings new and exciting! I put each piece through a process to smooth out all of the rough edges and restore it’s shine. Many of our pieces are one of a kind given the glass coloring and shape.Read their story
