About k dunaway design
K Dunaway is a mixed media artist exploring bold color through original fine art, clean graphic shape studies, and contemporary surface pattern design. Created from my original cut-paper collages, my Shape Studies began during COVID and at a time when my late husband was living with stage 4 cancer. Creating these small works became a way to focus on color, possibility, and moments of joy. Using paint sample cards and inspired by the cut-outs of Henri Matisse, I created bold, graphic compositions as part of The 100 Day Project. Each design was later redrawn on my iPad and reproduced as a fine art print. This collection celebrates optimism, creativity, and finding beauty in simple forms.
