About Orografie

We are now amphibious animals, both digital and analog, and we need objects that reflect this complex nature, that help us understand which functions we are and which actions represent us. Orografie are objects that emerge from a surface, like mountains rising from the sea, created to help us inhabit space, but also to teach us a different care, a new sensible order. The designers of Orografie have observed the spontaneous use we sometimes make of furniture, when we rediscover ourselves as builders of our means. Thus, things have been designed that fulfill functions that did not exist before and are now indispensable; forms not always attributable to already known categories, but that resemble us; everyday friends that help us and, above all, make us feel good.Read their story
