About Bare Cards

Welcome to Bare Cards Bare Cards is a family-run business founded in May 2022 by husband and wife team Derren and Ceri, based in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire. Originally launched as Envelopd, the brand was created to challenge the waste and inefficiency of traditional greetings cards. With over fifteen years’ experience in the greetings card industry, Derren identified the growing problem of unnecessary envelopes and excess packaging. In response, we developed a patented and trademarked card design that eliminates the need for a separate envelope. Using a third leaf and integrated sticking strip, Bare Cards offer a simple, innovative and sustainable solution. Our design enhances both presentation and customer experience. The entire card can be printed, creating strong shelf impact and a “wow factor” before opening. The self-seal strip also removes the need for “lick and stick”, making the card more hygienic and easier to use. Sustainability is central to everything we do. Our latest ranges go even further, with designs that can be repurposed as art after use, extending the life of the product and adding extra value for the customer.
