Our Story The journey began with a real estate investment in a three-story building in the rugged old mill city of Lawrence, Massachusetts—a structure that once housed a restaurant. Regina reopened the restaurant and quickly immersed herself in the business. It was here that she forged her identity as a food entrepreneur, sharpening her skills and developing what would become her signature creation: seasoned pita chips. In no time, the restaurant was booming. Customers raved, and Regina’s homemade pita chips became a house favorite. Working around the clock—running the restaurant by day and making chips by night—she hustled for six demanding years, driven by a vision and a relentless work ethic. That vision soon outgrew the restaurant. Regina branched out to pursue a bigger idea—one that would ultimately carve out a new snack category in the industry. Regenie’s® Pita Chips made the leap from restaurant tables to the shelves of supermarkets across the country, quickly gaining national recognition. Today, Regina continues to dazzle consumers with bold ideas, innovative textures, and unforgettable taste.
