Proudly Australian owned and operated, we are a business that continues to grow and strengthen our long term collaborative connection with the Australian Indigenous Artists we work with. Our mission is to deliver to our customers, individually hand crafted quality merchandise at an affordable price. We make use of natural bio-degradable fibres and materials, employing age old artistic techniques resulting in long lasting products that do not end up in landfill. Great Australian Store evolved from a distinctively unique and sustainable heritage of years developing what we now call “wearable art”. Our styling is both classic and contemporary. Many years ago, very early in the development of this range, we realised that its not just about creating, manufacturing and selling product. Its about caring for the community that are involved in these processes. We do this by ensuring monthly royalties are paid to our Artists as a profit share arrangement and improving the lives of the artisan community that hand craft and hand paint the merchandise.
