According to FAO (2022), Guinea produces nearly 75% of the world’s fonio. Our fonio is hand-harvested, hand-washed, and carefully cleaned by smallholder farmers to preserve tradition and ensure exceptional quality. We partner directly with farming communities to ensure ethical sourcing, fair pay, and regenerative farming practices. With over a decade of experience at Whole Foods Market, including global headquarters roles in Austin, Texas, founder Mamadou B.
