Frederique Poulain KNOWS RETAIL! Since arriving in Naples FL in 1993, retail selling has been the cornerstone of Frédérique’s success. With boutiques in Naples, Blowing Rock NC, Charlottesville VA, and now on Cape Cod, Frederique is the consummate retail salesperson and proves out the success of her designs at her own boutique. Frederique's resumé: Frederique attend L’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, France, an academy art school which led her to specialize in creating murals and Trompe L’oeil (trick the eye). Frédérique was a national top level equestrian rider and trainer in France, starting at a young age as a jumper that led her to discovering dressage. She was blessed to train and perform at the prestigious Grandes Écuries in Chantilly, France, also known as "The living horse museum." Frédérique performed advanced dressage moves such as Haute école, passage, piaffe and pirouettes and participated in shows regularly held at Grandes Écuries. Over the last thirty years, Frederique has been commissioned to paint for a "Who's Who" list of clientele from New England to Florida. Commissioned by and showing at the Museum of Fine Arts annual Art in Bloom Festival, Frederique has also shown at the Boston Flower and Garden Show, Chatham Festival of the Arts and the Newport Flower Show. Add to these her Equestrian show lineup at the Land Rover Three Day Event in Kentucky, Dressage at Devon, Frederique keeps very busy fulfilling the high demand for her artwork. Read their story
