Hobby turned business. I started off making items from Duck Tape in 2013. I started off small just making some items and collecting all different patterns of tape. I soon realized I should be selling my items to make a profit and get rid of the stock I had created. I did my first craft fair around 2014. All sorts of items were made; wallets, keychains, pins, & earrings. Tape became a thing of the past. Something for kids to craft with. I slowly turned to making more jewelry with beads and charms. Things got a little boring and simple, I wanted to make and learn more as I got older. I looked online and loved the look and idea of soda tab purses. I had shown my mom videos and pictures, and she started crocheting away and making items. The first clutch was made in 2015. The purses and wallets have been a favorite since. My uncle mails bags of soda tabs almost monthly to keep our supply up. We have reached out to other family members and friends to collect for us. I was now doing more and more craft fairs selling necklaces, earrings, bracelets & crochet soda tab items. I had started to collect metal items to make robots in 2015. I finally got the time, space, and tooling to make a found object robot in 2019. I instantly had wished I started making these unique items sooner.Read their story
