After nearly losing a beloved furry friend to severe dehydration while hiking in Los Angeles, Petralyte Cofounder Alex thought to himself that no one else should have to endure such a debilitating pain. Inspired, he teamed up with Akash, in order to consult a team of vets to create an electrolyte formula specifically tailored for dogs. Petralyte’s formula helps dogs stay hydrated so they can be healthier and more active, while at the same time take in nutrients faster and more efficiently. The unique formula addresses your dog’s stomach & gut (l-glutamine, oligofructose, and inulin), muscle, heart & vision (taurine), hip & joint (glucosamine and chondroitin), and general immunity (prebiotic). Veterinary-certified through extensive research and trial testing, Petralyte is easy to use and comes in three animal-favorite flavors: chicken, beef and turkey. As a company Petralyte's passion is to help animals in need around the world, either due to dehydration or neglect. We are partners with The Labelle Foundation — a Los Angeles based 501(c)(3) animal rescue devoted to saving, rehabilitating, and advocating for dogs.
