KASHIKO began with an encounter with a female Kutani ware artist. I discovered her small incense container at a gallery, captivated by its auspicious design, and purchased it immediately. Learning about her passion for creation and the challenges she faced inspired me to support artists like her.Our expertise lies in design and printing, and we realized that our 40 years of experience could bring Kutani designs into everyday items like stationery and furoshiki (wrapping cloths). By expanding their artistry beyond ceramics, we aim to share their work with a wider audience and contribute to their economic well-being.Since our establishment five years ago, KASHIKO has gained recognition on the global stage. In 2023 and 2024, we exhibited at Maison & Objet in Paris, where our products received high praise. Our zodiac furoshiki was even selected as a "WHAT'S NEW" item for 2024.KASHIKO continues to grow, sharing the rich tradition of Hokuriku craftsmanship with the world and building a bridge between Japanese artistry and global audiences.
