I have been creating jewelry for over 42 years and am a self-taught metalsmith artist. With two children to support and to supplement my income I fell into creating jewelry. I began in the early 80’s when the economy was booming and it was the era of big shoulders, big hair and big statement jewelry. Over the years I have worked with mixed metal, silver clay and resin jewelry. All of my designs were on the medium to larger size and created for a specific “art to wear” clientele. During the pandemic I started experimenting with different materials and adding color to my design palette. My granddaughter wanted to help me make jewelry and we fell upon the idea of creating themed earrings in a smaller size out of acrylic. Enter WhimZees Jewelry! My designs range from colorful unicorns to funky sugar skulls and include all the major holiday themes. I try to design something for everyone. WhimZees is a woman owned business that employs women in all stages of life.
