Every piece begins as an intricately detailed illustration, brought to life with soft pastel palettes, bold pops of colour and a love for stripes, with Katie’s signature tongue-in-cheek wordplay. Katie also takes a unique approach to the more serious types of greeting cards such as get well soon, retirement and sympathy cards, which although are often for sombre occasions, it doesn't mean the illustration itself should feel sad.
