My name is Alexxis and I’m a thirty-something mom & owner of colvincreativeco. - a small business that specializes in handmade, polymer clay earrings. A few years ago, I began looking for a creative outlet to help relieve my anxiety/stress from my corporate job as a strategist. I fell upon clay earrings and thought, “Hmm - maybe I could try that?” My therapeutic hobby turned into a bit of a creative obsession. I realized that the medium of polymer clay is so versatile that the possibilities to learn and explore are endless. Through constant learning and over time, I really began to appreciate that this cool, crafty idea truly served as a successful way to cope with my anxiety and depression. Today, I am proud to make high-quality, one-of-a-kind earrings that help celebrate individuality & self-expression. Each pair is carefully handcrafted with a dedication to detail & love for my craft. I am grateful that my business affords me the opportunity to spread beauty, but also to serve as a powerful tool for healing and connection.
