Coloured Yarn is a small family business built around one simple idea – every baby deserves a keepsake made with heart. I run the brand from my little home studio in Yorkshire, where I create personalised gifts for newborns and young children. Most of our pieces are handmade or hand-finished, from punch-needle name cushions to crocheted toys, knitted blankets, announcement cards and embroidered outfits. Every item begins with yarn, wool or thread – our signature materials – and is designed to feel warm, thoughtful and forever-kept. As a mum of two, I know how quickly those early moments pass. That’s why each product is created to be more than “just a gift” – it’s a memory to hold onto. Our cards and some of our designs are protected in the UK, which means boutiques receive something truly unique to offer their customers. We produce in small batches, personalise everything with care, and package each order beautifully so it arrives ready to gift.
