About Ayani

I’m Ayani Nicole—earthy creative, bus living nomadic, homeschooling mother of seven, midwife, nurse, herbalist, artist, and founder of Ayani. Ayani wasn’t born overnight. She came through many seasons, each one a sacred unfolding of my personal healing journey—through grief, rebirth, motherhood, womanhood, loss, and deep spiritual return. Before Ayani, she had many iterations. But even before the many phases she was vision and dreams working collectively with handwritten labels and apothecary blends made in the stillness of the night while my babies slept. Every iteration carried pieces of me—my roots in community health, my lived experience as a Black woman, and my reverence for the body’s ability to heal when held with care and intention. But Ayani is the name that chose me when I chose myself. Rooted in a name meaning “unmovable,” “a path,” or “blessed,” Ayani represents the season I am in now: standing softer but stronger, walking with deep intention, and weaving my lived experience as a healer into a space that honors the sacredness of women’s bodies. Through botanically-based intimate wellness, synbiotics, body oils, and sacred care rituals, I pour my love, my clinical knowledge, and my ancestral wisdom into each offering. Every product is part science, part soul, and fully aligned with your sacred wholeness. I created Ayani because I believe vaginal health is sacred. That softness is power.
