About Amypiou
Amélie Manchoulas, alias Amypiou, draws inspiration from her love for biodiversity and her travels, particularly to Japan, to create shimmering images. She experiments with different drawing techniques and tools such as the ballpoint pen, gouache, or digital drawing. A graphic designer by profession, printing processes hold no secrets for her. She prints her images herself using the risography technique: a Japanese process that is economical in water and energy and uses pure inks.
