Maple Hills Soapworks is an artisan soap brand based in Maple Hills, New Brunswick, specializing in small-batch, cold process soaps that are as gentle on the skin as they are on the environment. We are proudly palm oil free. This choice comes from a commitment to avoiding rainforest deforestation and the uncertainty of “sustainable sourcing” claims that are difficult to verify. Our soaps are crafted with high-quality, food-grade oils and butters, scented only with natural essential oils, and free from artificial colourants, micas, or titanium dioxide. To elevate the experience, select bars include tussah silk, a wild silk that enhances lather and texture naturally, without synthetic additives. All of our soaps are made completely from scratch using traditional cold process method and cured over several weeks. Our soaps are hand-cut and paper-wrapped with eco-conscious packaging wherever possible. We also take extra care with our unscented varieties, using separate sterilized equipment to guarantee they remain truly fragrance-free.Read their story
