Candelae – Scented Candles with Origin & Character Candelae is an independent candle manufacturer from Eich in Rheinhessen. Since 2018, we have been producing high-quality scented candles from recycled wine bottles, combined with soy wax and natural essential oils. The idea arose from the search for special gifts – far from mass-produced goods. Today, Candelae stands for products with a clear stance, visible sustainability, and high recognizability on the sales shelf. A central feature of our candles is the glasses: They are produced in-house from old wine bottles. Each vessel tells its origin and makes upcycling visibly tangible. Each candle is poured in Rheinhessen – carefully, controlled, and with an eye on consistent quality. We use soy wax, natural essential oils, and cotton-based wicks. We consciously avoid synthetic additives. Candelae is aimed at customers who value atmosphere, materials, and origin – and at retailers looking for authentic products with a strong story, sustainable concept, and reliable series quality.Read their story
