About Slightly Biased Quilts

My name is Jennifer Worthen and I’m the owner of Slightly Biased Quilts, established in 2020. I used to have a bias tape Etsy shop, but recently started designing quilt patterns, which can be found in my pattern shop. I’ve been quilting since 2009 and truly love bright, fun fabrics that can be brought to life with a simple pattern! I’m a member of the DC Modern Quilt Guild, and I have a PhD in Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics. I really enjoy quilt math and putting together patterns that are both fun and easy to assemble. The fabrics and color palettes I choose help bring a modern twist to typically traditional quilt blocks. I’ve recently started designing quilts for magazines, and I also teach quilt classes and lectures. I also really enjoy vending at quilt shows and meeting quilters!
