I'm Julie McDearmon, the founder and maker of Karma Cat Jewelry - a small, woman-owned business in Indianapolis, Indiana! I often hear from my wholesale and direct customers that my jewelry designs are very unique and they haven't seen anything quite like my jewelry before. If your ideal customer is seeking lightweight, handmade jewelry, my items may be just the perfect fit for you! I started making beaded earrings and realized that I didn't see anything close to the quality or style like mine being sold in my city. My jewelry collection features creative handmade earrings containing vintage stones, beautiful beads, upcycled leather and semi-precious stones. From beaded hoops to fringe earrings, brass designs to statement studs, and quirky upcycled leather pieces, a lot of hard work and imagination goes into each earring design. I take great care to handmake all upcycled leather pieces and hand-bead each hoop, and fringe earring. I use hypoallergenic earring findings, hooks, etc. when possible, so my earrings are good for sensitive ears. I pick out every bead, piece of leather and finding featured in each piece of jewelry. I also do custom beaded work and can make custom leather earrings to fit your needs.
