About Slate Puzzle
Slate Puzzle started because I wanted to make a metal puzzle that felt worth keeping. Most puzzles are fun while you’re doing them, but once they’re finished, they usually go back in the box. I wanted to create something that felt more permanent. Something with weight to it. Something you could solve, frame, display, or give as a gift without it feeling disposable. Each Slate Puzzle is made from metal and laser-etched with artwork, maps, or custom designs. The pieces are heavier than cardboard, the image is sharp, and the finished puzzle feels more like an object than a toy. A city map can represent home. A piece of artwork can become something you build by hand. A custom design can mark a place, a memory, or a moment that matters. That is the idea behind Slate Puzzle: take something meaningful and make it physical, lasting, and beautiful. Made in metal. Built to frame and keep.
