In college, Joel worked at aquaponic farms, school community garden, and gardens at risk youth. Joel found through growing gardens that he was able to bring community together in an unique way. After college, he started a microform growing a variety of plants and animals; and found a need for unique plants to be grown and distributed. The idea for a wholesale plant nursery began to germinate within Joel's heart and mind. They dreamed of sharing the joy of plants with their community on a larger scale, of being a bridge between the beauty of nature and the diverse cultures that populated their town. This dream wasn't just about selling plants; it was about fostering connections, nurturing relationships, and cultivating a shared sense of wonder for nature's abundance.
