About Hannah Lloyd Art

Hi! I'm Hannah, a self-taught painter and illustrator. After leaving art behind at school, I rediscovered my passion around three years ago and instantly fell in love again. I was inspired to open my Etsy shop after creating some watercolour illustrations for my daughter's nursery. One day, she'll be learning Irish at school, but I'm not an Irish speaker, so I wanted to find a way to connect with her and the language. I love being in nature and wanted to share my passion for wildlife and the wonderful Irish landscape with her – even though we live in the heart of Dublin city! My friends and family loved the illustrations, so I took a chance on setting up a little print studio at home, and here we are! So far I've sent prints to people in Ireland, the UK, the US, and Australia. I currently balance my time between looking after my daughter, working my day job, painting, and running my small business. I hope you'll like my prints and postcards!
