At nineteen, my world fell apart when I lost my mother. Grief pulled me into a battle with addiction, and that fight eventually led me to prison. Those years forced me to face my demons head-on and choose a different path. I found my salvation in the kitchen—its fire, order, and creativity gave me purpose when I had none. Cooking became more than a job; it was a discipline, a therapy, and a way forward. Over the next several years, I worked in kitchens all over Southern California and Las Vegas, learning, grinding, and earning every bit of my redemption through sweat and skill. That journey ultimately led me to open Haute Dawgz, a gourmet Sausage Boutique. Every link is built with the same passion and precision that saved my life—we grind our beef fresh, craft every flavor combination from scratch, and stuff our sausages in-house.
