Established in 1909, Broadbent has deep roots in the traditions of Curing and Smoking Kentucky Country Hams. Awarded the title of Grand Champion a total of 22 times at the Kentucky State Fair, each of our Country Hams are hand-rubbed with our special dry cure mixture and aged the old-fashioned way. Broadbent’s Country Hams are aged longer than most, six to nine months, then slowly smoked over hickory embers. This gives our Kentucky Country Hams a rich and nutty aroma with a mild flavor. Our Country Ham and Smoked Country Bacon make great menu additions for traditional meals, and offer old-world flavors for the innovators in the culinary arts.
