About Southern Viking BBQ

Southern Viking BBQ Sauce began as a private, family recipe, made exclusively for friends and relatives. As the demand increased for our one-of-a-kind sauce throughout our friends and relatives, our son and recipe master, Marcus, decided to share our sauce to the public. At that time, Marcus was an Army Officer in the Heart of Texas. He began to cook bottles of sauce in large quantities in the little spare time he had, to share with his Soldiers, Leaders, and their friends and families. Marcus then moved to New Braunfels, Texas. Upon arriving, he brought a few samples to the city and was able to immediately lock in a farmers market position with the New Braunfels Farmers Market (a very competitive market). On his second day at the Farmers Market, he was approached by Central Market of HEB. The buyer had brought our sauce back to their corporate office and they immediately offered us a wholesale deal! Since then, several stores have purchased our one-of-a-kind sauce and we have never had a single bad review.
