About ART FROM MARS ART FROM MARS was born during the 2023 film industry strikes, when work in television and film came to a sudden halt for our family. While productions were shut down, Jorie started drawing and painting as a creative outlet, and Erik began learning graphic design. When a friend suggested turning one of Jorie’s illustrations into a patch and putting it on a hat, we gave it a try. That first hat became the beginning of ART FROM MARS. Today, we’re a family-owned and operated art brand creating original hats, art prints, and creative products inspired by nature, coastal living, wildlife, and adventure. Most of what we make is still created, assembled, packed, and shipped from our garage studio. What started as a way to navigate an uncertain season has grown into something much bigger—a creative business built around family, resilience, and the joy of making things by hand. We believe great art doesn’t have to come from a big company. Sometimes it comes from a sketch, a simple idea, and a family willing to take a chance on something new.
