Hoosier Candle Company began in 2009. After selling other lines of candles since 2002, owner Traci Bratton decided to embark in the world of candle making. Being a seasoned retailer Traci understood the importance and the necessity of a quality line, with lower order and reorder minimums. Having a goal of creating an amazing product that would fill her own store shelves, Traci quickly realized there was a place for HCC in the wholesale world after many retailers reached out wanting to carry her line. Growing up in the Midwest and spending summers on her Grandparent's Farm in Rural Indiana, it was easy to pull from a scrapbook of history to channel ideas and inspirations for the brand that now adorns homes throughout homes in the US. "Our brand reflects a deeply rooted heritage, harvesting from a multi-generation farming family" HCC candles are made from wax that's harvested from soybeans grown in the Midwest, much of it coming from the state of Indiana. We use lead free, cotton wicks and Phthalate free fragrance oils . Our soy candles are a safe and clean alternative to paraffin candles. Since 2002 our candles have been and will always be poured in small batches to ensure consistency and quality every time. We have a large scent list and love creating new and unique products.
