About Keiser Farms Popcorn

Keiser Farms originated in 1911, Ashland, Nebraska. Perched along the bluff and blessed with rich, peat soil and an abundant supply of water from the Todd Valley aquifer, the Keisers have been successful farmers of various types of livestock and crops. As a 5th generation Keiser, I wanted to honor my family, our century farm, and produce a product that my family has not done before. I planted the first plot of yellow butterfly popcorn in 2017 and have been going ever since. I try to do as much by hand as possible with some help from my family and friends, from weed suppression, picking, shelling, bagging, and marketing. I have been wholesaling one pound gift bags of kernels to retailers that specialize in market items, gifts, Made In Nebraska, and who appreciate small producers with a big heart and lasting legacies.
