My name is Joanna, and my journey to Auris Space began after I graduated from Harvard and entered the education industry as an entrepreneur. I was passionate about making a difference, but over time, I saw the emotional toll that unhealthy family dynamics and societal pressure had—not just on the students I worked with, but on me as well. The constant stress wore me down. There were moments I felt completely depleted, disconnected, and close to breaking. That’s when I started reaching for something more grounding—something gentle. I found it in crystals, plants, and the quiet practice of self-healing. They brought me back to myself. Crystals reminded me to pause. Plants taught me to grow slowly. The small rituals I created each day—lighting a candle, arranging stones, nurturing a leaf—began to shift my entire mindset. It wasn’t instant, but it was powerful. So I left my job and founded Auris Space—a brand rooted in healing, softness, and intention. I wanted to create pieces that aren’t just beautiful, but meaningful—tools for grounding and daily rituals.
