Queen of Naples and collector, she notably commissioned Ingres to create the Grande Odalisque. A fantasized work since the painter never traveled to the oriental lands... But the languor of the character, her sweet and dreamy melancholy, her coquetries, and the deep and muted colors of the painting form the foundations of the Odalisque Paris brand.
