About Firebird

As a young and vibrant company originally from St Petersburg but now living and working in beautiful Estonia, we create truly unique and original, hand-painted Russian dolls and Matryoshka's. We employ only the most talented artists to create these stunning dolls. We also create handmade and eco-friendly wooden toys for kids. First, we ethically source linden tree timber, then we carve them to various shapes. Then our artists make designs and paint the dolls or ornaments using tempera paints. Our varnish experts apply water-based, eco-friendly varnish. Read their story
