About The Card Edit

The Card Edit was born back in August 2018, stemming from my love of greeting cards and all things stationery. Everything is designed, handmade and printed in Swansea, UK. Greeting cards are the best thing about a birthday (or any other special occasion), right? Right? Whether giving or receiving them, I love the special messages, the inside jokes and the outpouring of love that goes into them. It's not often you get to tell someone just how much they mean to you or how special they are - a card is the perfect opportunity for that. I love being part of that special exchange - knowing that hundreds of people around the UK woke up on Mother's Day and opened up a card that I lovingly designed, printed and packed actually made my day. So essentially, that's why I do what I do. When I was first setting up The Card Edit, I remember my mum saying "Don't call it something as specific as The Card Edit - you'll never be able to sell anything other than cards!" and obviously at the time I didn't think I'd ever want to sell anything else... But here we are, almost 3 years on and over 350 products that definitely aren't just cards (Mother knows best!), but I love 'The Card Edit' and can't imagine it ever being called anything different.
