People are ashamed of their mental health struggles or they believe they should just tough it out and push through, so they end up suffering alone. That’s what How To Heal Co. is here to change. At How To Heal Co., we make sustainable mental health awareness apparel you feel good in and feel good about. We like to say it’s your new, favorite, super-soft t-shirt or sweatshirt that actually makes a difference. Yes, we sell apparel, but our goal is really to start conversations about mental health. The way the mental illness stigma is going to change is by people talking about it and bringing their own mental health journeys out of the shadows, and we believe a shirt is the perfect conversation starter. Sustainability is important to us, which is why our apparel is made with recycled polyester from plastic bottles, organic or Better Cotton Initiative-certified cotton, and Forest Stewardship Council-certified beechwood, and our packaging material is also made from 100% recycled materials. Another one of our core values is giving back, which is why we donate a portion of every order to a mental health non-profit such as RAINN and K9s for Warriors.
