When Jenny first rescued Chopper, she quickly realized he was the dream adventure partner, wanting to join in on everything, from ski trips to backpacking. Outside in the mountains is where both of them are happiest. Unfortunately, Chopper is a picky eater and feeding him on backpacking trips became a problem. After finding no other solutions, Jenny started dehydrating dog-specific backpacker meals for Chopper so that he could stay fueled and not miss out on adventures. After realizing pups faced the same issues in the backcountry, Jenny and Chopper decided to found PUPPACKR, making backpacker meals for your 4-legged trail companions. We firmly believe that every dog deserves to adventure, and having the right food shouldn't stop them!Read their story
