About Art by Erica H & Rebel Stitchers

My name is Erica Henry. I am a fine artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer located in Middle Tennessee. I started Art by Erica H in 2005 to start sharing my artwork with the world. The idea for Rebel Stitchers came about in 2022 while I was battling chronic illnesses. I found myself wanting to learn to spin yarn.  I bought a spindle and started spinning yarn right from my bed. It wasn’t just a creative outlet; it became a form of therapy and comfort. I couldn't do a lot of things used to do, but this was something that I could do even while I was exhausted.  There's something so calming about the tactile experience with spinning yarn. As I learned more and my health improved, so did my dream of creating Rebel Stitchers. Now, I’m able to share my love for handmade tools and fiber supplies with fellow creators like you. Everything we offer is designed to make your fiber art journey easier, more enjoyable, and even more rewarding.
