Welcome to Jemma Jamie! We're a small illustrated product business created by Jemma Jamie Skidmore and Lydia Skidmore, two sisters who couldn't be more different. Jemma is obsessed with storytelling and magical woodlands, spending her days painting in her kitchen studio in rural Gloucestershire, UK. Meanwhile, Lydia is a meticulous and organized art department coordinator for film and TV in Vancouver, Canada. Despite our differences, we share a love of history, messages, and the natural world, as well as a passion for cute animals, bright colors, and beautiful things. We wanted to bring this love to our brand and do things our own way. We first worked together on a film set, where Jemma was a set decorator and Lydia was a grip. Jemma jokingly said to Lydia, "If you mess up, you're out!" But after a year of working together, we realized that storytelling is our mission. We're both committed to the idea that stories and objects have the power to inspire and empower, and we wanted to bring that to our brand.Read their story
