About J.Falkner Cards

Our cards are, quite literally, 'made in sunshine'. Since 2011, when we started our company in Palm Beach, we have been inspired every day by the good fortune of our Florida location. With our cards, we’re trying to put to paper that sense of pure happiness you feel when the sun is shining in a perfect blue sky. We’re not afraid of color, but we also like clean, simple design. There’s so much visual noise in the world these days: our cards hope to be the antidote. Stationery is actually my third act — and don’t they always say that one is the most satisfying? My first was book publishing in London, and my second was as a magazine art director in New York. All along I have loved crisp, modern graphics and beautiful paper. When I started my company, it was without any kind of business plan. My only thought was this: I’m only going to design cards I’d like to send myself, and let’s see if anyone else wants to send them! Here we are these years later, with stockists across the country, not to mention Canada and England. Which, for me, shows just how vibrant paper and stationery continues to be.
