"My purpose is to evoke an authentic joy of nature and create sensuous, calming interior spaces." Pernille Folcarelli creates art prints, wall decorations and interior products that form calm, harmonious and sensuous interior spaces. Rooms that serve as natural, delightful breathing spaces in a hectic world, and products with motifs that open our eyes to the beauty of the detail. The inspiration comes from nature and botany in the local surroundings, where Pernille collects plants for printing. These are selected on the basis of shape, leaf structure, characteristic or their symbolism. In her workshop, the fresh plants are used to make imprints on paper through a hand-powered graphic press. Selected handmade prints are developed for collections of posters, postcards, textile wall decorations, wallpaper, curtains, trays and napkins. All products are manufactured in close collaboration with Scandinavian suppliers. Founded by designer Pernille Folcarelli in 2013, the showroom, workshop and warehouse are located in Helsinge, Denmark. US deliveries ship from our distributor located near Seattle, WA. We also supply products to interior designers, hotels, restaurants, etc., and we can offer special design for specific projects and customers.Read their story
