Lionò is a project developed by the young Italian designer Rita Eleonora Ricci. Our mission is to produce fashion accessories with a modern design using ancient artisan techniques that represent the excellence of Made in Italy. The goal of our brand is to prevent the extinction of the ancient crafts that belong to the intangible cultural heritage of southern Italy. Our territories are steeped in stories of ancient works that we want to spread, such as the art of cameo engraving — or shell sculpture, which dates back to the Bourbon period — and silk manufacturing of San Leucio, located at the gates of the Royal Palace of Caserta (35 km from Naples) and whose silks have furnished for centuries places such as the White House and the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg.
